And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people. (Matthew 4:23)
Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers. (1 Timothy 4:13)
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God[b] may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Our Sunday School classes are structured much like what might be found at other churches of similar size. One key difference here is that our first focus is on the individual's belief in Christ and their understanding of the Gospel. We understand that this is a growth process and that everybody has differing levels of understanding. That's okay. That's why we study: so that we can understand better.
Sunday School Classes are as follows (age as of first Sunday of September):
- 4 to Kindergarten - Beginner's Bible
- 1st & 2nd grade - Beginner's Doctrine
- 3rd to 6th grade - Westminster Shorter Catechism
- 7th to 12th grade - Christianity, Cults, & Religions (meets in the Manse)
- Adults - Discipleship (meets in the Worship Center)
In addition to the above, there are a number of advanced options available to the more advanced learner. These range from continuing education, focused training in a number of areas, and even higher education for those wishing to pursue a full-time career in ministry. Please see contact the church leadership team for more information.
