Beginning 05/10/2020, we will be holding socially-distanced worship services at 10am and 6pm.  Per order of the Governor of Alabama, all attending families must sit at least 6' from each other.  Furthermore, our building capacity will be limited to 200 persons, which is less than 50% of our normal capacity of 570.  As soon as the COVID-19 danger has passed, our plan is to resume normal worship services as quickly as possible.  Please watch this banner, as well as our FaceBook page, for more information as it develops.  To reach us directly, please email or phone us and one of the elders or deacons will get back with you as quickly as possible (contact information is below).

The Daring Life

Let’s dare to become like them, heroes of the faith. The people around us, those who intuitively know they “need a hero” will look to us, and see and hear of Christ. Born again, they will rejoice in joining us in this daring life....

Without a desire for godliness (love for God) and holiness (living for God), do we have a real interest in Jesus? The lack of these loves among professing Christians shows how dire our need for revival is....

Wellspring of My Soul

Unless and until we get back to telling folks that, there is little hope that the soft-prosperity/life-coaching/sin-neglecting gospel will make any difference for them. Instead, as they discover this gospel is worthless, they will continue to abandon the church. May we repent and return to offering them Jesus, the only wellspring of the soul!...
