AUM Outreach

By God's favor, the Church at Chantilly has a ministry on the campus of Auburn University of Montgomery. This is a small @5K-student university with about 1,000 students living on campus. With a wide-range of excellent academics, AUM is an educational jewel in the capital city of Alabama!

Our congregation has a number of graduates from AUM among its members, as well as a number current AUM students. Via this outreach, upwards of 2 dozen students have been impacted by the Church at Chantilly's mission to bring the gospel back to a community that has lost their heritage of the new life in Christ.

Current activities include:

  • Friday's-Witness: weekly gospel tract distribution and extended witnessing conversations
  • 1-to-1 On-the-Gospel: gospel investigation studies where students can look closer at the details of the gospel, and learn more about how they can come to enjoy the glory of new life in Christ
  • Life Explored at AUM: on-campus Bible study using Life Explored ( to consider the gospel and its relevance to life's issues.
  • Student-to-Student witnessing: CatC AUM students to fellow students
  • Life-Issues counseling: pastoral counseling for students

We'd be grateful for your prayers for God's use of this ministry to grow his kingdom in the lives of this next generation here in Gumptown. See our weekly witnessing updates for up-to-date reports on God's use:
